Christmas lights down Chandler blvd in Phoenix

I rang out 2014 and welcomed in 2015 in Phoenix with my best friend Heather. I'm usually down south in early February, but this was my first ever holiday season there. It was rather strange to be surrounded by Christmas lights and holiday cheer in the desert, but I could see getting used to it. Heather had a calendar on her fridge for December featuring people blissfully sitting on the beach with the caption "I could tell you that I missed snow in December, but then you know I'd be off my meds". It made me smile every time I opened the fridge.

I'm home now and plan to clean the studio today, take an inventory of what's left from the Christmas shows and dig back into things on Monday. I feel really excited about 2015- more so than usual for this year. My intuition keeps humming that this is going to be an amazing year. I wish that for everyone!
